has been set up as a resource for
independent travellers by me (Nick) in order to give other independent travellers the
opportunity to find information and share experiences.
I was in Lombok, Indonesia in 1998 and attempting to meet up with friends in Kuta, Bali. How do you do that if you don't have their e-mail addresses? Hopefully this site is the answer. I would also like to get in touch with some people who climbed the Rinjani volcano in Lombok with me - maybe if I leave messages on this site, someone will know them. And my messages might inspire other fellow south-east Asia travellers to say 'hi'. |

Anyway, use the site how you feel fit - I'm sure it will change over time. My main area of expertise is in the Asia-pacific section, though there is also a good bit on North America due to my days as a soccer coach at a summer camp - everywhere else is going to be a case of updating it when I get extra information. If you want to say 'hi', please feel free to e-mail. (Before using the site I would also ask you to check out the help and advice page which includes a rather important disclaimer.)
The only other thing is the cost of running the site - I'm hoping to develop some sponsors (only those I approve of, of course).
