How about becoming an official friend???

There is obviously a cost to running the site, so instead of charging money for its use we just ask people to help us out.  (sounds good - let me join)

And what do you get???

• Well, you get to be immortalised on our list (but only if you want to be, of course),
• you get the monthly e-newsletter which keeps you in touch with what's going on and includes news of special offers and stuff,

• you could become a point of contact for others who are going travelling

• and you get to help keep it running.

To become an official friend costs the ridiculous amount of £5 (or 7 US dollars or even 8 Euros).
